Description

SiteSucker is a Macintosh application that automatically downloads Web sites from the Internet. It does this by asynchronously copying the site's webpages, images, PDFs, style sheets, and other files to your local hard drive, duplicating the site's directory structure.

SiteSucker can be used to make local copies of Web sites. By default, SiteSucker "localizes" the files it downloads, allowing you to browse a site offline, but it can also download sites without modification.

What’s New

Version 5.3.4

Fixed a bug that caused SiteSucker to always log HTTP error descriptions in English.
Fixed a bug that caused SiteSucker to crash when a tag attribute had a missing value.

Quite satisfactory. Could be Excellent.

This app does what it says, though requires a fair bit of guesswork to get it working well.

At the core is an excellent app that outperforms most of these types of apps. Where it is let down is the interface. The app is not intuitive to use, and lacks clear directions. The icon is hideous, but that’s probably not such a big problem to most users.

All in all it’s a good app that has the potential to be a great app with a bit of clever rebuilding.

Very good application

It has served me really well for a very long time. Stable and no bugs faced. I see people leave reviews only when there are issues thus creating a false negative perception but this app is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

Great - does what I need

I needed a way to download the source of the webpages on my site, and SiteSucker did it. Easy to use, well documented. It works. Many thanks
