lost my money
i have used skrill for around a year and a half now, many many transactions.
sometimes it works fine, i withdraw my funds to crypto which sometimes i receive within a decent amount of time, typically within the hour. however, sometimes it has taken not only up to FOUR days to even receive the money.
not only that, but skrill TOOK my money. i withdrew a smaller amount of funds, around $30something from my skrill to my eth crypto, normally i withdraw to eth or btc.
i checked that the address was correct, and it was and i has withdrawn money to that very address a multitude of times with no problems. however, i NEVER received this money. it never arrived although on the blockchain it says the money arrived in my account, it did not. not a thing, and rhianna probably at least 3 months ago at this point. i contacted skrill and they said it arrived on the blockchain and that they wouldn’t do anything further. i never got my money, it did NOT arrive. skrill likely stole my money as there was nothing wrong with the other times i had sent to that exact, correct address. their customer service is a joke and they will steal from you. do not use this app if you do not have to.
The worst app
The payment gateway I used, in which I invested my money trusting that it would work with a broker, turned out to be the worst experience I've ever had. When trying to make the deposit, I was informed that it was not possible. Subsequently, when attempting to withdraw my funds in US dollars, the platform converted them to another currency without my consent and charged me a 5% commission for the exchange, in addition to the transfer fee. This series of events leads me to believe that I fell victim to a scam, feeling that I was robbed.
My trust in the platform was betrayed as I placed confidence in it by indicating that it worked in collaboration with the broker. However, this assertion proved to be deceptive when I attempted the deposit and encountered the impossibility of completing the transaction. This situation, coupled with the negative experience of the failed deposit and complications in fund withdrawal, generated deep distrust and significantly undermined the credibility of the service.
Document scanning mechanism is pathetic
Firstly the app does not allow you to click the picture of your document, it says place the document in the frame until it automatically captures the photo. This is so annoying as i have tried scanning the document several times but it just does not want to work.
Secondly, the app does not let you upload a pdf if it has a poor quality mechanism to verify your documents which shows improper planing of the process. There is no way one can use it for the second transaction unless it is verified. This will only lead to loose out the customers choosing other service providers over this one.
