The last few updates have broken the live view
I can no longer see what my production or consumption is in real-time. I can see the graph but not the live dashboard view. The appliance detection has never really worked. I have too many appliances to really tell what is what. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack when manually trying to do this.
Shame. Snapper always looked to have so much potential.

Hi, Sorry to hear you're disappointed. The cost reported in the app is indeed an approximation of your utility bill. Since Smappee has become a world player, we can’t take every tax rule, fee guideline or tiered pricing into account. Consult your energy costs in the Profile tab, go to Your homes, select a home and tap Your Rates. We continue working hard improving our appliance detection. We already have a solution via submetering with Smappee Plus or Smappee Switch. And in the new app we have a lot of new features that enable you to help Smappee find new appliances. 1. Definitely fill in the Survey (under Profile). That way Smappee knows what appliances to look for. 2. Give Smappee feedback on its detected events. Swipe right when Smappee is correct, Swipe left when Smappee got it wrong. 3. And now you can use the Smappee Switch to help Smappee recognise appliances. And there's more updates coming soon... Expensive and almost useless.
Live view bubbles don't update most of the time when resuming app. The device itself has never been able to detect appliances based on frequency. I would definitely buy another monitor if I hadn't already spent over $400 for this device. All it can really do is show whole house usage, not individual appliance usage
Update a backward step
Sorry to say that this update makes some awful changes.
1. The new graphs are poorly laid out with a bad choice of resolution.
2. You cannot pick the date like the previous version
3. The quick view does not refresh like the previous version, just sits on the same reading that it starts with.
4. There are no other choices for the dashboard, so what is the point of the new version?
So sorry that I updated to this new version. Very disappointed.
