Huge disappointment
I have to say I am very disappointed at the kettle. It has potential but the app is terrible. The ux has not been well thought of but my biggest criticism is that it doesn't really do automation too well. The alarm for example still requires input to boil the water, you can't just set the water to boil at certain time. Same thing with home mode where it won't automatically boil the water when you come home, but still requires input. Issue is that rather than brains of the device being inside the actual kettle the brain is in the app and iOS has limitations with background running so to fix this App needs to be a client and kettle needs to be the brain. Till this happens the kettle will never succeed.
