The story behind this game is that my smartphone got damaged, requiring me to revert back to an old phone. Suddenly I knew the smartphone was missing something and the idea for a accurate Snake remake was born.
Snake '97 is an homage to the classic mobile phone game programmed in 1997.
By carefully analyzing the classic gameplay, timing and controls, this Snake '97 remake is one of the most accurate available.

I used to love this game on my old Nokia 3110 (my very first mobile phone) when I was in high-school back in 2005, 😄 and now 12 years later, I've been reunited with both my old phone (thanks to the image, screen, and sound effects) and an old favourite game.
(*sniff*) It's like seeing an old dear friend again after losing contact for so long...

Brings back nostalgic memories!
I was extremely excited to find this app and am so pleased at how accurate it is, it takes me straight back to having my first phone.
People are saying it's harder to use than the original but hang in there. I believe it just takes a bit longer to get used to touching a screen and not the original buttons!
Thank you so much for making this app, definitely the best remake of a 90s game I've seen on the App Store 😄🐍❤️
Love the game
I love the game haven’t stopped playing since I downloaded it, at first I struggled to get the hang of what number to press go up down or side ways but once I figured it out it took off like a rocket, I would recommend an updated version with buttons that go up or down and side to side instead of the numbers.
