Shame..

It was free. I liked the app, but not enough to pay the subscription. It looks a lot more user friendly with a few more features, but I'll never get to try them, Shame. Looks like I'm back to pen and paper. I was using it for my massage therapy notes, It's good to have professional looking notes just in case the health funds come sniffing around. Medibank were sending out letters of clinic compliance checks awhile ago. I can still access all my old notes without having to pay, I just can't add anymore. I did really love the stamps, but you can program the iPad with abbreviated text anyway so hey ho! The muscle chart was great, well mapped out areas. Thanks for the free time!!!

Pretty good

Enough basic features but would be good with more flexibility - perhaps in more advanced version . Drawing templates could be improved to offer muscular skeleton in lateral perspective as well

Be wary

Have been using Soap Notes for a few years and have been happy enough with it despite a few flaws.
However without notice they have changed to a subscription policy and I can no longer access my data without subscribing for $125

We definitely understand that the subscription may be a surprise (especially since most of us have automatic app updates enabled!) and an unexpected cost. As independent developers, we're trying to re-open our doors while trying to keep our costs low for our independent practice customers as well -- a difficult balancing act!

The new subscription feature of the app is a decision that we did not take lightly. In June 2015, we took SOAP Notes off of the App Store with the intention of halting updates, because we could no longer afford to develop/update the software. We're a small software company, and we had to close down and get different jobs to pay the bills.

After receiving some very enthusiastic emails from SOAP Notes users requesting updates, we tried to find a cost structure that would enable us to work on the software again while still keep the price point reasonable. We decided to wait over a year from the last purchase before releasing an update, to make sure customers were not faced with the new price model too quickly after the old price structure purchase.

We want to make sure we point out the following subscriptions information:
* ALL of your existing data is accessible without a subscription, and always will be.
* Only new data requires a subscription.
* The subscription can be broken up into monthly, quarterly, or yearly chunks, to help accommodate different customer needs. (Monthly comes with a 7 day free trial)

We want SOAP Notes to be the best medical note taking app on the App Store. Our subscription costs are extremely competitive given other services in this same realm. We hope that you would help us make SOAP Notes a better app. Thank you.
