NOTES:
1) Three Shuffles and a Draw, La Belle Lucie etc can be found under the "Fan Games" section as separate game Rules.
2) You can either drag cards onto other cards or use the new Tap to Move feature - tap on a card to highlight it grey and then tap where you want it to move to. You can turn Tap to Move off from the Solitaire City Settings screen if you always drag cards.
3) There is an option that can ask you to confirm if you want to end a game on the Settings screen. It's called "Confirm New/End" and if you're prone to accidentally hitting the New button during play then simply turn it on.

What’s New
Version 7.25
1) The 7.24 update would crash after creating a new background or card back using the camera or from the photo album.
2) Removed "Card Rotations" and "Card Shadows" from the Settings screen that appears when you press the cog wheel during game play.
3) New backgrounds - Aged Wood, Kittens, Puppies and Dolphins.
Bug Fixes in 7.24
1) Game Center stopped working when updating iOS because a "What's New in Game Center" screen would briefly appear and then disappear behind the user interface preventing the "Continue" button from being pressed.
2) On iOS 16, if you paused the game and changed your device orientation then the screen would mess up.
3) If you replayed a game with scoring turned off and then won the game and then chose to play another game, the same cards would be dealt again.
4) Some of the help message boxes were lingering around during Training.
Ratings and Reviews
Lots of games
This neat package has lots of solitaire games to keep you interested - some (but not all) even have built-in tutorials to show you how to play.
Originally I chose this app because the cards look better than others.
Some of the games are becoming personal favourites, some not - but that’s OK because there are plenty to choose from & that is one of the strengths of Solitaire City: choice.
The UI isn’t perfect - it’s functional.
Top of my wish list would be “auto tap to play”. Why does SC force me to manually drag cards when auto tap could do it for me? In particular I find Klondike unplayable without auto tap. Yet it’s less of an issue for me with other games like Pyramid, Golf or Accordion.
I support indie developers so they can continue to support me. I also appreciate a developer who doesn’t collect or share my personal data with others - check the privacy policy :-)

Excellent implementation
Update: The app continues to improve with new games and subtle changes to UI elements such as the target size for buttons. First class.
This is an excellent implementation of a wide range of classic card games. It is fast, responsive and fun. Unlike many competitors, the developer continues to update the app regularly.
My only small wish is that there was a quick way to change the sound effects on all games together. In some, the defaults are a bit too lurid for my tastes but changing them on a game by game basis is tedious if once off exercise.
Simply the best!
There are stacks of solitaire games out there offering dozens or even hundreds of games or variations but most are of little interest to me. I prefer this beauty which has a subset with only the best of the best games. Combine that with great sounds and visuals as well as the "just gotta have one more go" feeling and you have a real winner. I ought to know as I bought this game back in the Windows 95 era, then the Pocket PC version, the Apple Mac version and (finally) the iOS version.
Do yourself a favour and buy this... You won't regret it.
