Good app but needs work

The app works well and is suited for my needs. What would be great is: 1. A passcode login or to just stay open, it’s annoying putting in your email and password every time. 2. It needs a feature to upload old invoices you’ve sent to customers in the “money in” section. 3. When first subscribing, a web version to transfer data like invoices and customer/supplier contacts from your old accounting system to Solo would be great too.

I was hired to do some advertising for MYOB and throughout the process. I got access to the app, and I have actually started using it for many facets of my business that aren’t because of the sponsorship I find it to be extremely easy to use and very helpful with creating invoices as well as offering tap to pay so I can accept credit card payments from clients directly after completing my services. I will be continuing to use the app and I’m very glad I had this opportunity to use the app and mitigate my tedious tasks.

I signed up for the app whilst looking for a suitable accounting solution. I used it 1 day and put through my card details as they had a promotion of $12 for a year. I thought given it’s an online platform, the payment would be debited immediately. I normally don’t have money on that card except in that moment. Now I’ve received an email saying they will put my account for collections which would lower credit score if I do not pay the $12. There is no way to cancel the subscription without calling their contact centre. If this how they treat their customers, I’m glad I chose QuickBooks Self-Employed over this. Terrible experience by a money-hungry company with no regard for customer service.
