SO adaptable

I've been using this app for maybe a decade? I'm in a few different groups so tabs allow me to keep each grouping of tunes ... "grouped". Being able to create playlists for each event, also very useful! Then... I can save the playlists so I know not to just keep repeating the songs I like all the time... keep it new. The scrolling allows me to project words and chords up on a wall so larger play alongs groups don't have to print out songbooks AND they all don't spend the day hunched over in a book. They can look up!!! See everyone else playing.. BE A PART OF A "BAND" ... not just someone with a book. Being able to change keys so easily is also a super feature! A tune I like to play in Bb might not be enjoyable to these play along groups... POP... it's in C! Man that's handy. Also being able to change the size and color of the chords so they stand out from the lyrics is a wonderful feature for my more beginnerish players. Beautiful app.

There's a Print Auto-Zoom option which will fit the whole song printed on one page, including the chord diagrams. You can set how many chord diagrams are shown in one row, this defines the size of the diagrams.

This app is now really useful, after some upgrades.

I own the iPad app as well as the desktop app for Mac, pointing both versions to the same library. This is now a really flexible tool. I can edit quickly on my Mac and it updates for the mobiles. As a uke group, we all point at it. We’ve recently discovered the feature that allows one person to log in, and the others to bluetooth to the same login, so that, as the first person changes page etc, all the iPads are cynchronised to it. Love it!

The only tool I use now

Have used Songbook for several years. Had a look at the Beta program a while ago and it was a great experience. My dealings with Andreas have always been absolutely fantastic with prompt and informative responses to any queries.

I love it and highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to jam or gig.
