The worst thing about my Sony Alpha cameras is the lack of GPS.This works the same as imagine edge, no difference. The biggest issue is that the phone/app does not automatically connect to the camera when it turns on. This means every time I turn the camera off and on - which happens a lot when you are travelling - I need to take my phone out of my pocket and open creators app. If you make this auto connect to the camera without me having to manually unlock my phone or open the app then I am happy to make this a five star review. Until then, I’m still an unhappy user of this app.Either put GPS ability into the Alpha cams or fix this process. (Or make a hotshoe gps attachment - whatever just give us easy GPS!!)

I am a long term professional photographer and Sony Alpha user. The idea of a control app for my cameras is very appealing. Unfortunately this app is very clunky to use. It has got better, but still difficult. The connection issues are not entirely Sony’s fault, though frustrating. The real problem is the complexity of signing in and going through endless legal junk before I can use the app. II don’t care about the cloud part, as I will never post there and I don’t believe it will ever compete with other image forums. It is all pretty amateurish. I just want to control my cameras, but it is not really worth the time to get in and set up. Pity, it was a good idea. I’ll stick to bringing my laptop and using Capture One.
Most stupid way of using a puzzle to login

I have some colour visual impairment and instead of Sony trying to make it easy for users to sign in, the developers thought it was a great idea to introduce a puzzle (have to get it right for 10 consecutive times) to be able to login. I struggled for more than 20 times and gave up as I have some visual impairment trying tod the puzzle. Sony, please get your developers to rework the puzzle, just get rid of it as we are all humans using it. So make it easy if you want to verify if it is humans logging in instead of making it so difficult. And your audio puzzle is equally stupid! What a rubbish user experience and is the worst that I have on using an app!

Overall I’m happy I don’t need to take out my SD card reader all the time and I can easily transfer images from cloud to my phone. However, it does few refreshes to upload photos into the app after a while if we can look into how to make this process faster would be great experienced. Thanks
