Keep crashing
It was good the first time i bought it. Now after i reinstall to the newer iphone , the app keep crashing when changing sound. Please fix it
Challenging but worthwhile control interface
Probably great fun for non-musos as it's diatonic rather than chromatic so impossible to play 'wrong' notes.
Otoh, quite a learning curve for musos whose muscle memory is wired for guitars, keyboards etc. Worth the effort of learning it though.
Seems to be arranged in minor thirds diagonally (giving a diminished scale) m/M thirds vertically depending on key, and octaves horizontally: a two, or maybe three dimensional 'keyboard'. (If one counts the diagonal as something more than just the intersection of the other two, which it seems to be; I'm still studying it myself, having only downloaded it today.
Scales are possible, though tricky on an iPhone, and they conform to the key (i.e., they're not chromatic).
Having more complex chords possible would be nice, e.g., sus4, 6, min7 etc., unless I'm missing something ...
Comprehensive and great for creativity! - 5 STARS+
This is a very powerful creative instrument that really seems to have everything covered. Once you get a grip on the layout it becomes very easy to create complex layered compositions. The combination of chord manipulation and separate bass notes is brilliant.
This is a great concept and is really useful for pushing your creativity in new directions. It's actually quite an experience to use this instrument and it's great to see an app making the most of the iDevices great touch screen, this is a very professional device with never ending scope.
The midi control from this app is amazing and could be the greatest feature in this app, except that all the other functions are also very high quality. This app really needs to be experienced to understand how much it offers, and it does offer more than you expect. I have definitely found myself constantly coming back for more.
