Description

The SpaLINK app allows you to connect to, and take control of your SV Series equipped spa, locally or remotely via a WiFi, 3G or 4G network, providing access to your spa from any location at any time.

Your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch becomes a wireless remote for your spa enabling complete control over all spa accessories including pumps, air blowers, and LED spa lights and lighting effects.

In addition the app provides total control over every possible spa configuration setting. There are no shortened menus or minimal access to limited settings, the SV SpaLINK app allows complete adjustment of all spa control settings as if you were standing in front of the spa.
Simple to use touch screen menus make adjusting the temperature, selecting your desired heating mode, programming filtration, sleep or power save timers and other such settings a breeze. Even if you have never owned or used a spa pool before, from the moment you open the app you’ll be driving the spa like you were a professional.

App needs updating

App crashes when setting end time for off peak mode. Otherwise works well. For people who have connectivity issues, it probably is due to faulty installation of the WiFi module/antenna. We had the same issue. Once that was fixed it works well. A lot easier to set functions on the app than on the module itself. I think the Bluetooth speaker is a waste of money though...

Good app let down by dropouts

This app is quite good and very convenient, but has some glitches and needs updating. I always have good wifi connection to the spanet wifi unit (newer grey box type), but it randomly fails to connect to the spanet controller/wifi unit, sometimes for several hours, which is very frustrating. Spa is about 10m line-of-sight to wifi router so it doesn’t seem like it’s a poor connection issue (typically about -58dB). Sleep timers don’t appear to work properly either, like it’s in a different time zone - spa doesn’t awake at set time when set for different days/times for weekdays/weekends. Impossible to tell if these dropouts are a hardware/software deficiency, but either way it’s not good considering how much the spa and wifi unit cost.

Wish I’d read the reviews before buying wifi module

First problem is that wifi scan doesn’t find all available wifi networks. Next problem is that at various times, I cannot connect to the spa, for long periods it just won’t connect and it’s quicker to go out to spa to make changes.
The app has now started to quit when I go into set end time on the sleep modes. It’s displaying a time written as 4:155. When I try to click on it to fix, the app crashes.
This wasn’t a cheap wifi unit and I’m really disappointed to read other reviews with same problems over many years and apparently no effort to fix, while still selling the unit and app. When it works it’s ok!
