Speedometer 55 Start. GPS Box‪.‬ 4+

Great App

I have been using this app for approximately three months now and have found that I use it all the time. If you do not have a digital speedometer this is a very useful app. It is very accurate and the warning it gives if you exceed the speed limit although annoying can save you lots of dollars. Very happy.

Some ideas

I do like the app however would like to see some improvements and functions.
Eg. More speed settings:- 40,50,60,70,80,100,110 Kph. These are the main speed limits in Australia. So the current 4 settings are insufficient.
Also it would be great to have a good navigation tool built in since you already have google maps being displayed. If this is possible then entering destination address should be simple and easy to do.
Also to reduce the annoying visual effect of digital speed numbers suddenly jumping in value it might be an idea to show an analogue speed around the digits. An analogue display is much easier to view and understand.

Dear Jonathan, Thank you for your kind words and the ideas! I replied to your email as well, thank you for it! You can have 8 speed limits in the full version and in both free/full version please just hold a finger on a limit preset and release after a second to open a limit editor. I'll see what I can do with the turn by turn navigation as Google requires it to be paid by session basis and this would lead to subscription in the app - I'm trying to avoid this. I'll keep exploring the options. As for the analogue circle around the speed digits, let me look into this - thank you for this idea! Yours and thankful! Stan, the app developer.

But there’s still room for innovation, I think the app can be better if only the users will have the options to be aware of police presence and police cameras, being able to record and store your speed and to allow users to setup or select the maximum speed notification or alarm! Five stars can be achieved by adding these features and more! Thanks

Hey guys, is there any feature on this app that allows users of the app to determine the depth of the water when you’re in a water sports/boat ride? Basically, I’m talking about the height or depth of your boat when at sea?

[Update Apr-12-2019] Dear 11 Prado gardens, This is an interesting idea, hard to tell though how to implement this with the current sensors available in iPhone. While your current altitude/height can be determined by means of GPS or barometer, to tell the water depth under the boat one would need probably to get this data from some other source, given the location. The app is not capable of this at the moment. But it is an interesting idea and I'll be looking around to see where from these data can be acquired.

I'm working on "users collaboration" features to enable the "mega mind" on speed limits and radars, indeed. Too early to say anything about it, I'll do my best to move faster.
