Splashtop vs Teamviewr
All I can is Splashtop is the best remote log in app by far !
We had TeamViewer for years which was great but is now a complete rip off to the point they will extort money from you if you decide to stop the AU$550 subscription fees and not notify them within 30 days - the fees will stick - and if you don’t pay they then unleash their international lawyers onto you and your company ! . . . if you don’t believe me Google it - hundreds of innocent people have been forced to pay up.
So after that rant Splashtop is amazing and they continually keep developing their app and product.
The only thing we would like them to work in is to allow questions up downloads instead of one at a time - other than that you won’t be sorry !
Fast and controls are accurate
Splashtop has become my favourite rdc, it’s rendering and ease of use even with less than ideal connections is great. Good ios controls. Great support and remote 3d modeling tool.
Battery drain
First up, excellent app and it’s very functional. However when I check my iPad that I haven’t used for the last 2 days after fully charged is at 5% I checked the battery usage and found Splashtop backgroup has been draining my battery. Would be great to have the background process optimised. For now I will make sure the app is killed after use every time.
