Getting started
You’ll need some data to download the app for the first time, but data charges no longer apply when using the SA app itself. If you have a connection, you can do your banking!
Transactional features are available to Standard Bank accounts held in South Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Lesotho, Malawi, eSwatini and Namibia. Keep in mind that some types of payments include transaction fees.
Note that some features may not be available in your region.

A great update this time! Here's what's new
• CMA: Customers who make payments to Namibia will be presented with a message in the payments flow, which re-directs them to Branch for future payments to Namibia.
• Flexible Funeral policyholders may now submit their claims via the Insurance Tile.
• When buying a Flexi Funeral policy via the Explore page, customers may now insure children over 21 years of age by indicating if the child is a student or disabled.

Easy to use
Incompetent staff
Staff try to be helpful but do not have anything above a basic level of competency or depth of understanding into what they are doing. Between accidentally cancelling cards, creating faulty pins, linking wrong cards to internet banking profiles, and deleting a profile with years of stored beneficiaries, I’ve had enough.. I must leave this bank or loose all my hair in repeated, maddening frustration.. Join FNB instead.. You’ve been warned.. 😩
Rubbish
The office send you an email and says you have to respond via a secure message online. Go to the app and cant find where to send. Seems they have tried to make a fancy app that is not user friendly and difficult for the sake of being fancy.
