Not just the looks of a classic game, also the gameplay of a classic platformer. This game is NOT EASY! you have an endless amount of lives, so you can quickly restart a level when you miss a jump, get hit by an enemy, get bitten by a plant, get hit by a spiky-ball, crushed by big statues, run onto spikes, get hit by a wasp, or any of the other many ways you’ll get stopped in your run.
BUT when you do complete a level, the rush you get will keep you coming back for more, and more, and more, and..
Unlock special temple levels by finding hidden keys, unlock a flip-mode by completing a level both within the time set, and also by collecting all the coins in a level.
Stardash is all about the gameplay thrown at you in awesome retro graphics and original chiptunes.

Great little platformer
Loads of fun! Controls are a bit glitchy at times but this little gem has given me hours of classic platformer gaming. Progressively more difficult. Clever levels, the last to the pint of frustration! Great stuff.

I'm not totally wrapped by this game.
I liked the whole classic nintendo/ gameboy feel to it. But it really didn't feel like a professional nintendo game because nintendo gradually increases the difficulty by other means, where as this game just chucks in a whole heap of enemies, and that's pretty much as far as it goes with difficulty increasing.
The first world is quite easy, flew through it in less than 10 minutes, then the second world is insanely difficult because there's so many enemies.
I also would have preferred a bit of color,maybe just low saturation color of a gameboy color,
not many levels either..
That's the main negative !
Id rather see longer levels with check points and powerups like mushrooms and flowers, etc. Rather than this "speed run" one life only type game.
