Stop - Categories Word Game 12+

some missing answers

love this game and mostly everything in it. my one peeve is that in quite a few of the pop culture categories especially ‘Bands and solo artists’ answers are missing. As a Kpop stan most bands that a put in are wrong even though they are real bands. i always say it’s a valid answer but it’s been maybe 1 year and none of the bands have entered the system. Same with some movies that are animated but lesser known (still from Disney though). Just an aspect to improve i think is checking the validation of answers quickly when people report them because i’m sick of losing when an answer i’ve submitted is correct.

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, the game rejects any words that are not registered in each word bank. For this, could you please send us a list of words that were rejected? Messages can be sent from inside the game (Tap Settings ---» Contact Us)

Great game but could be improved

It’s a pretty great game but there’s only one problem I find with it. The whole layout of how a game is started. Categories get chosen before the letter does, and some of the categories on there, for example the period table element, are limited by certain letters. There is no element that begins with a W as me and my partner were just playing a match and got W as a letter and periodic table element as a category. I was fairly certain that there was not an element that began with a W so I clicked on the hint for the question and it gave me Wol as a part answer. To check, i googled the periodic table and there is no element anywhere that begins with W. The only thing that would come close to a W on the period Table would be Tungsten as that is the letter displayed for it.

Otherwise really great game. Just think letter should be chosen first and categories after or have some sort of algorithm that sorts or changes certain categories that don’t fit the letter chosen, like the periodic table question

Scattegories Online Without The Hassle

‘Stop!’ is a fast paced word solving game that is a blast to play with friends. It’s simple premise and easy-to-use interface makes it accessible to all ages and has simple but effective graphics that don’t get in the way of gameplay. As a free-to-play app it is understandable to run ads, and about every second round is finished by an ad, but it doesn’t drag on or disrupt the game.

I would recommend Stop to a friend, it’s one of the only word games I’ve played for this long and is always improving it’s word database. Make sure you do have a friend though, as it is always more fun with a friend! (There is an option to play a game against a random online opponent as well)
