Storybook: Fall asleep faster 4+

My son is 4 and a half and has always been a really bad sleeper. To get him into bed and asleep before 9.30pm is a victory these days. Until he was 3 he wanted to party most of the night and neither myself or my wife slept more than 2-3 hrs most nights. He also suffers from bad eczema which keeps him awake scratching and often bleeding a lot. I was a little skeptical when this was recommended to me. I have always liked massage myself but couldn’t really see how this simple app would work for kids. The short version is that on the 1st night of using it my son slept through the night (which is rare). Today he asked me to use the massage app at 7.30 pm and got himself into bed. I nearly fell over. He had 2 stories/ massages and fell asleep shortly afterwards. In short, this is amazing. It is simple, easy to follow and you can concentrate on the massage whilst the short story is read out for you. The design work is really good and I am surprised by its low price tag. For the results we have had I would have paid pretty much anything. Thank you. I would recommend this to any parent with kids who are not sleeping well or possibly other concerns.

Storybook has been a true healing app and teacher for myself and son in particular. In a very short space of time the gap of affection and trust that had been broken due to my own health issues is on a solid and immediate path to recovery. Even at age 7, my son is everyday looking forward to Storybook bedtime routine.

The language is used in such a way that he can understand it is teaching his parent and helping him as a child at the same time. The provocative nature of each story is positive and inspiring. Though some concepts seem confronting on humanities, seemingly inevitable, path to androgyny it eases my mind to know there are supportive think pieces entering my and my sacred children’s minds as we evolve as a species.

I would like for some more positive reinforcement of the soundness of males who are fully male and females who are fully female as also being a healthy mind and life path. Without the toxic traits of either gender ‘alpha’ bias.

This is the most important app on my phone.
Other than banking and emails for gross grownup stuff.
This app has brought my children and I closer than we ever have been. It helps me demonstrate asking for permission and healthy boundary setting with them. We all sleep better with the night affirmations. I can not fault this app. It’s expensive, but I have added it to my budget because it’s so worth it.
