Description

Regardless of format limits, wirelessly stream any local videos, music, and photos (not web content) to LG TVs!

Fast streaming

It works. It streams movies very fast with almost no noticiable buffering lag. However, it’s extremely difficult to use. I wish it was as easy as clicking a movie in Finder, and selecting Open with…. Instead, you’ll use a menubar app with a playlist that you have to fill (even if you only have a single movie to play). Some other knobs to turn, and even when you think you’ve figured it out, it won’t work the same way the next time. It also seems to get stuck. Hitting the play button doesn’t do anything to unstuck it. I eventually stopped using this app, and just plugged in my external hard drive into my LG TV - it’s able to play movies from there quite well.

Serious lag and sync issues

It found my TV okay, but playing anything was super challenging. The audio and video never synced, despite the file playing fine in every other program. It also constantly needed to sync, adding more disparety to the audio and video. Things were unwatchable using this app.

Great Software

Streaming is working great in HQ! Once I figured out that my energy saver setting (turn display off after x) was causing it to freeze, it worked perfectly!
I’m not sure if this is the case for everyone because I was streaming from a local NAS > Mac > LGTV, opposed to files on the actual system.

I was honestly suprised to find it work so well. Great Work.
