Study Score Calculator will help you estimate:
• Your raw and scaled study score for your VCE subjects.
• Your required exam score for a desired study store.
• Your Aggregate and ATAR.
Simply choose your subject, enter the score (%) you got for each of your graded assessments and what you predict to get in the exam, and the app will calculate the range your study score is most likely to fall between. Alternatively, input the study score you hope you get and the app will calculate what you need on the exam to get that score!
Your Graded Assessments (GA) vary from subject to subject, and the best way to figure out your percentage is to average your results for that GA, or to ask your teacher.
This application currently supports all VCE subjects and utilises grade distribution data from 2016-2018 to calculate your scores.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The algorithm follows the normal distribution calculations used to calculate your actual study score. We use data from past year's so the end result is as accurate as possible. that we cannot determine your ranking in your class for THIS YEAR actual results will of course vary. Use this as a guide only! The 'most accurate' ATAR / Study Score will be the one VCAA give you at the end of the year, so...Happy studying!
DISCLAIMER (FROM VCAA):
The VCAA does not support or endorse the development and use of study score calculators as they can lead to erroneous conclusions and frustration for individual students. The assessment results for one year should not be used in any way to predict results for students in subsequent years. Each year’s assessments results, both for school based and external (Examinations), will vary due to different assessments being used and different populations of students participating in the assessment.

It can’t predict getting a 50 study score
It may be a glitch, but when you type in the exam score area, say 100 for unit 3 and 4 then a study score of 50, it says not possible. Other then that it’s great
Developer Response ,
Thank you so much for your feedback. Can you chuck us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, detailing what subject this is happening to?
(Update: We’ve fixed the issue in the latest version 2.1.5)

Thankyou so much, please keep up to date with the new courses implemented in the coming years
Surely it doesnt take in to account school rankings??
Hi does your app take in to account ranking and does it also scale/change your sac results if you do worse or better on the exam
Developer Response ,
We cannot determine your exact ranking in your class and across the state, this is why we output a range from your score to fall between. The ranges themselves are accurate results of students who completed VCE in 2017. When estimating your exam score, tweak your exam score input to see if any changes occur to your estimated range.
