Subtitles are downloaded from the huge database of subtitles at opensubtitles.org. As subtitles are contributed to opensubtitles by volunteers, the time it takes for subtitles to become available after a movie release can vary.

Fantastic App
As I’m partially deaf this App has helped me enormously to be able to now watch TV shows and Movies regardless if they have captioning or not.
Such a wonderful app for, not only, the deaf community but to those needing language translations either at home or when travelling overseas.

Hi Peace child4, Sorry you were experiencing this problem. Federal restrictions for accessing subtitles are now lifted in Australia, so you should be able to download subtitles once again. Please feel free to get in touch at support@interactivecoconut.com if you are experiencing any further issues.

This is a wonderful app! I’m now able to share American movies with Mum (who’s Egyptian), that she couldn’t have watched before without the Arabic subtitles! I just position the iPad in front of the tv and it syncs perfectly! Sunday nights are now our movie nights together! Thanks to the creators of this app.
