Description

‘Surgical Flaps’ is an App designed for the iPad and iPhone as an educational tool outlining the designs of commonly used techniques to reconstruct skin defects in Plastic Surgery.

The App is carefully constructed to optimise understanding of these complex procedures and the work is presented in 3 different ways for the user to increase his/her understanding:

• As still diagrams (Pre-operative illustrations)

• With state-of-the-art 3D animated illustrations starting with the excision of the lesions and proceeding with the incisions made, the transferring of the tissues and the final outcome

• With text to explain the procedure

Surgical Flaps is designed for medical students, trainee plastic surgeons, dermatological surgeons and surgeons of all specialities interested in flap surgery.

Great app, great service

The app itself is great. I use it to explain the procedure to patients and it makes a big difference to their decision making and confidence.
Matthew Briggs deserves a special thanks for not just responding promptly when I had an issue, but he also kept me informed and in the loop until it was resolved.
Great app, great service.
I don’t think there is another app to compete with this. Thank you !
