I like it but...

I’ve been very happy with the app up until the last update. Now EVERY time I open the app the modes configuration menu comes up no matter what I do. I’ve hit the do not remind me again checkbox and configured my settings so many times and it still won’t stop coming up. I’ve removed the app and reinstalled and still it won’t change. My IOS is up to date too.
The current update even says they fixed this issue. Well it’s not fixed for me!
Please fix as it is incredibly annoying to have to flip through the notification every time.
Otherwise the app works for me.

I’m running the current 2.17 Alpha test app. Still finding that the major problem is re-pairing a camera when it stays offline. I get board after an hour trying both normal and “ manual “ pairing approaches. My wifi is via a Deco nest system throughout the house. The iPhone had no trouble seeing the camera’s wifi signature, but the app still says “ unable to connect “ I have eight cameras, 4 are Spotcam and are connected via the Ethernet cable and 4 are Indoor Alert types. Presently one of the Alert cameras is offline and won’t re-pair. Sometimes when a camera goes offline it will connect via the app, but if after 3 days it remains offline, then I disconnect it and try to re - pair. That’s when the trouble begins. Sometimes deleting and re installing the app fixes the issue but not always. Is it possibly that the iPhone and the app are not 100% compatible? Is there another way to resolve this annoying problem in what otherwise is a good system. The Ethernet option is definitely preferable as getting a good wifi signal through double brick walls is no good. I could only get about 30% wifi . With Ethernet it’s 100%.

Constantly crashes and freezes

This is a good app to see what’s going on however I find that I get a 30 sec window of viewing in wide screen (rotating my phone), and putting it on HQ to actually see details, before either it stops live streaming with a error of ‘live view from device has stopped’. This will either freeze my phone entirely (either with the last picture stuck on the screen) or I have to close the phone and wait about 1min to turn the phone back on. Alternatively I get a retry link which doesn’t work, I have turn the phone back to portrait, wait for the images to load again, and I try again. Otherwise I am viewing live view and it’s no longer live because nothing is moving and it’s totally frozen. It would be great if you could fix this as it is really frustrating.
