This is the real deal

I’m a 44 year old working mum of 2. I have completed all 88 (including 4 beginner) weeks of Kayla’s BBG and am up to week 11 of Kelsey’s Power at Home. I can honestly say this is the first exercise program that I have ever stuck to. It is easy to use, has realistic but still challenging workouts, and most importantly to me it has been sustainable to keep following on a long term basis. I feel the strongest I have ever felt in my life. I’ve had personal trainers, run a half marathon and completed an Olympic distance triathlon that all ended in boredom and/or injury. However on the Sweat program I still remain injury free, interested and motivated. I have taken breaks here and there for sickness and holidays, which was important. The warm up and recovery/cool down sessions built in to the workouts are are the difference, together with gradual build up in difficulty over the weeks. Kayla and Tobi have produced a truly exceptional product and the subscription cost is worth every single cent. If you are in any way still undecided, my advice would be to just get started and you will not look back. Don’t wait for a new year, a new month or a new week to start. Just get started today. I started on a random day in May 3 years ago now. I just made the decision to start, and my only regret is that I didn’t start earlier.

A few tweaks

Hey, loving your app! Just a few things I thought I’d point out that bother me that maybe you could modify. The ‘Fierce’ program doesn’t tell you when the exercise is finished so when you’re exercising you don’t know when to stop and change exercise unless you’re looking at your phone (which who can possibly do that). Also the timer and audio don’t work when your phones locked and unfortunately if you can’t afford cordless head phones you can’t really exercise and not lock your phone because you need to put it in your pocket. Another suggestion that I’d like to make is maybe you could add alternative exercises that work the same muscle group for those of us who live in rural areas with VERY basic overcrowded gyms that also do not have BATTLE ROPES (fierce program). I love battle ropes but unfortunately are not accessible for me so an alternative would be great!
Lastly, I’m currently unable to connect to the playlists on the app not sure if this is my phones problem or a glitch in the program.
As I said I do love this program and I love the new additions to it! I love that I can finish work and go straight to the gym without having to think about what I need to do! For someone like me who was scared of weights because I had no clue what to do, how to do it or WHAT ON EARTH a superset was it’s been the best!
So thanks again but please take my suggestions on board because I don’t like doing exercises longer than I have to.

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much for your feedback. Since your review, we have implemented a siren for FIERCE circuits, so we hope this has improved your workout experience! In order to run the timer and audio when your phone is locked, please ensure you have Background App Refresh for Sweat within your device settings. We'd love to assist you further with exercise alternatives, and the issue you are experiencing with the playlists. Please reach out to our Support Team at
