I’m 60 wanting to get back to fitness

I’m a cyclist and reasonably fit for that but wanted to engage my whole body to achieve overall fitness. After a few years in the gym I knew kettlebells were a great device to achieve strength but without expensive gym equipment at home. I’m loving the Sworkit sessions as they really get me going. A word of caution, start with small weights at this age, don’t get ahead of yourself as I’ve found out with my gym work. Start with 4 or 6kg, take it slow and engage your lower back always otherwise you could end up with a slipped disc. I’ve added the 28 Day Flexibility Challenge to loosen up my legs, especially my hamstrings. Because there is a daily program I’ve been able to stick with it...mostly 😇👌

I’m 13 years old and I am very unfit, although I am skinny. I have been trying to find good fitness apps to help me get fit, but they all cost money or are just not helpful at all. I was also very happy to find that they had kids workouts, which I hadn’t seen on any of the other fitness apps I’ve used, so I’m very very happy about that! I’m so glad I found this app, I’ve only had it for one day and it’s very straight forward and helps me a lot I can’t wait to get back into shape with Sworkit.

My P.E teacher introduced us to Sworkit because we have been doing online school at home due to the virus. I was interested in the app and decided to download it. The app is easy to use and offers great exercises for beginners to advanced levels. I didn’t realise that you had to pay to be able to access most of the workouts. The kids workouts were good but there is only six of them. Please make more free workouts or at least make the existing ones free because a lot of people are deterred by the price. It discourages people from wanting to get fit and actually utilising the app to its full potential. Quite disappointed but will still use the kids workouts until the other ones are made free.
