Pretty good
Upside: This app is pretty good. It’s step by step functionality makes it good for understanding where you have stumbled on a problem, or where your lecturer has skipped several steps during a lecture.
Downside: It is missing several major functions that uni students could really use.
Don’t bother contacting the help/support people. They don’t seem to care enough to respond to any emails.
What has happened to the UI?
Symbolab is truly an amazing service. They are also amazing at taking feedback and adjusting things. But the UI on the iOS app on the iPad is now just terrible. I don’t know how to describe just how bad it it. The keyboard is visible, but due to some rule, I can’t use parts of it because it’s not in focus? But it’s on the screen. And pressing the go button appears to do nothing, but that’s because it’s doing the calculations in the background. Only then does it give you a solution. I’m guessing the people who design the app don’t actually use the app!
A Good Idea
I feel like this app would be 10x more popular if you made the steps free, a solution to making the steps free is get more sponsors more adds is what I’m saying because if you do that I reckon this app will get to #1 on the App Store, imagine the popularity this app could get it would be great to see this app become something huge anyway this is just a idea.
