Initial impressions

I haven't played the whole episode on iPhone yet but I can offer a few comments. The graphics are good, but can be sluggish at times. The resolution is standard, not retina display, but that shouldn't deter most players. The controls seemed a little awkward at first, but became easier to use with practice. Notably, the act of selecting different in world objects is facilitated by a sort of scroll wheel which allows the player to switch between objects. It works well enough, but can be touchy.
The story and gameplay are entertaining, but may seem a little convoluted to those unfamiliar with the franchise. Fans of Guybrush's previous games wont be disappointed by the humor and story. All things considered a good port to the iPhones small screen. I look forward to the rest of the series and (hopefully) other games from telltale.
