Logging into the app is now faster and more reliable. If you’ve saved your username and password on previous apps, you’ll need to re-enter it when you first sign into this version. We’ve given automations a revamp so it’s easier to get your smart home working for you. We’ve also added the ability to zoom in on your live camera streams, created some suggested automations, and made it possible to change the order you see cameras on My Place. Also includes some bug fixes and other minor improvements.

Once up and running and you finally understand how to use it, it was cool. But then I updated. It became worse. For no reason at all my time is 3 and a half hours fast now so it now changes to night mode at 3pm. And returns to home mode just after midnight. With no place to change the time. Price of the cameras are a joke. The wide sensor beam stopped working. It won’t let ‘choose to delete’ you’re media first without asking if ‘you are sure’ also cannot bulk delete.
Ps hurry up and fix my problems TELSTRA.
PPS. KICK YOU’RE BOSS IN THE HEAD.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues- we are working on the timing problem and expect a fix in the coming weeks. In the meantime, a hub reboot should reset you to the proper time.

Lastly, thank you for the feedback on the confirm to delete; while I don't have a good answer at this time we can help with getting the cameras set up so you don't take too many videos/images- again post on crowdsupport if you'd like some help.
The old version layout was great, landscape mode could see everything at at glance and access everything as wel. New version it just hides things to have to swipe cameras across to go between both. How is that helpful? As for the “scenes” what a waste of time ! For example, the morning one wants to put on ALL lights and ALL plugs! I don’t want to do that, I want to pick and choose what ones I want! Come on do some proper updates.
Also where are the settings for Face ID and fingerprint, that are supposed to be there?? And stop logging me out every time I use a different app! How stupid is that. Ever since that last update, it has stuffed everything up, and when I rang I was uninstall the app and reinstall. THAT DOES NOT WORK BY THE WAY. FIX THIS GARBAGE.

Thanks for the feedback. To access a page with all of your cameras, tap the three dots just above the thumbnail preview.
To pick and choose which lights, first delete 'all lights and all plugs' from the scene, and then you can add them individually. You can also create custom scenes if the pre-configured ones don't meet your needs.

Quick (and gentle) suggestion: please let your customers know through social etc that there is a known problem. This will most certainly ameliorate any dissatisfaction and poor ratings.

How on earth does this happen? How in 2018 does an app and a company drop the ball with monotonous (and frustrating) regularity?
Was just starting to enjoy this service and accompanying devices.
And for those of who are wondering.
Yes, I deleted and reinstalled the app and restarted the “Smart Modem”. There’s nothing at all wrong with the internet.
PLEASE FIX AND/OR UPDATE YOUR APP & SERVICE!

Thanks for the update, and happy to hear you're back up and running! We are certainly looking to improve our communications when we know there is an issue with Smart Home, and whilst we hope not to have to, this will be better next time :).
