Questions

Great game, but every time I go into it locks me out. It shows the loading screen after the cutscene where it shows your ship in a port. Then it just stops. After about 15 mins it randomly goes out of the app. It does this every time. I’ve tries restarting my iPad, resetting the app, even deleting and redownloading the app and nothing works. Please help

It’s not a bad game

This main mechanics - naval warfare - are incredibly arcade-like. If you are looking for nuanced, tough, micro-manageable combat mechanics, you will be disappointed. Its well rounded, but unfortunately it’s easy to learn and easy to master and therefore becomes repetitive quickly. A lot of work has gone into the art, but unfortunately the gameplay doesn’t do it justice. In some ways it’s so close, there are layers that could be added to the current combat mechanics that could see this game improve into a great product with much longer last-ability. I have to mention the ‘on-land’ fighting gameplay mechanics - they are underdone, and frustrating. I’ve bought the the full game, but I dont think I’ll see much of its content.

Cool game but a lot of bugs

The game itself is rather cool, but there are a lot of bugs. Sometimes the story missions just dissappear and there‘s no message on how long you have to wait. When I did a mission and for example didn‘t open the stone door but wuickly checked the map, all enemy ships are suddenly back again. Dragging items (cannons, artifacts... ) into the ships slots is cumbersome and doesn‘t work properly. I also died several times dueing the flying dutchman quest (and also beat him) but the story seems to be stuck and he appears again and again...
Also a bit of a better description for the dlcs would be nice.
