Deceiving

The app itself is functional as expected.. however, it makes you think you have a decision to sign up with phone number instead of Apple ID (the only other option) yet it doesn’t actually let you use your phone number to sign up therefore, forcing you to use Apple ID. Sketchy for the near future, apps like this get leaked easily, gl to anyone who uses their apple acc for their sign in.

Sorry if there is a confusion, maybe we should improve the wording on the app and communicate more on our privacy practices.

We used to have phone number sign-in but we replaced it with Apple Sign-in because the sms validation codes were too expensive at scale.
We kept the phone number option for people who previously signed-in with their phone number so they can still access their account. (So basically you can still log-in with it but not sign-up)

On the privacy side:

Phone numbers are hashed (encrypted) meaning we can’t even access them.

By default Apple Sign-in generates a unique and random email address to protect user’s privacy (you can see it in their sign-in card). We do not have access or any informations regarding your Apple ID account.

Suspicion

I’ve never had an app Require me to use my google log in before I didn’t even bother making an account this just doesn’t seem correct to Require a google log in of all things and doesn’t seem like an app that can hold data leaks and I’d rather not risk it.
