Description

Boost your child's musical hearing, memory capacity, and language readiness with our app's daily dose of audio stimulation.

Tonality is a simple and easy-to-operate application for listening to music in 24 keys. You and your child, from 16 weeks after conception to six years old, can listen to a prepared dose of musical examples every day. We recommend listening to music daily to develop the musical pathway in your child's brain. For this purpose, the Tonality application supplies 24 Tracks of music in the 12 major and 12 minor musical keys for Active and Passive Listening Modes. Each track provides ear training in one key (Triad) and one piano piece in the same key. These 24 Tracks, as a daily set, last approximately 40 minutes.
We also offer a supplementary YouTube Tonality Playlist with recommended well-known music repertoire in all 24 musical keys for listening anytime.
Developing listening skills has many benefits for your child. It expands the brain’s memory capacity and prepares it for learning languages, math, reading, and more. It also shapes imagination and musical sensitivity, especially through listening to music in each musical key.

HOW TO USE TONALITY
Passive Listening Mode (PLM) – Listen to Tonality with your child during daily activities like eating, bathing, playing, falling asleep, or in the car. We don't have to pay attention to what we listen to at that moment. Our brain is filled with sounds and patterns regardless of our involvement.
Active Listening Mode (ALM) – Additionally, if you want, engage daily with one track from our 24 Tracks selection. Select one track using the CHOICE option. While listening, show your child on your phone or iPad the name of the musical key that goes with the track.
Audio Setup – The speaker on your phone does not produce clear audio for music. Use a Bluetooth speaker or soundbar connected to your phone or iPad. Place the speaker close by. Adjust the volume to a level typical of quiet conversation (about 50-55 dB) even in your car. Do not ever use headphones with your child.
