The simpler side of 4X

I remember when this was new and was looking for a strategy experience this side of iOS that I thought I’d never get... First session and I was pleasantly surprised, not to mention hooked! Not only have you got a game you can (more or less) play on your terms with online and pass n play multiplayer options, it’s the most approachable 4X strategy one can play. To top it all off, Polytopia’s in-game service model in yet another example of ethical and non-intrusive offering new addition factions to play (with and against). Didn’t really start buying up factions until my first few sessions, but by then the game made enough of an impression on me to give me desire to make those initial purchases - starting off with three factions means you have (up to two) opponents to deal with when getting a feel for this game, by then you first lot of playthroughs you’ll more or less have an idea as to whether or not opening up the rest of game is worthwhile. If good simplistic mobile 4X strategy gets your attention, then this is one game you won’t have any problems parting with your spare change unlock new factions. Only downside... It will kill your battery it’s that engaging!

👌🏻

I love polytopia and I have been playing it for over a year now. The gameplay is quick and simplistic, which makes the game fun and easy to understand! However games get a bit bland and repetitive after a while, especially if you haven’t bought all of the tribes. In future, I’d like to see bigger skill trees and more gameplay elements so the player would have to think more logically and strategically to win. I’d love to see something like bridges to allow land troops to move freely over short, shallow water distances, and walls, which would prevent enemies from entering friendly territory. This would give rise to new units like siege equipment other then catapults, like battering rams and siege towers. I would like to be able to upgrade previously placed roads for a practical and visual improvement aswell. I also feel like buildings like the farms, windmills, mines and temples could be adapted visually to the tribe that built them.

I have way to many ideas for this game it’s ridiculous😅 I really love polytopia and the potential it has to become an amazing game:)

My favourite game ever + two great ideas

I personally love this game it’s a turn based strategy which I love it has a pass n play option which I love only thing I personally dislike about the game are the map sizes I wish I could make my own sizes of maps for example for a 1v1 I can have a 400 tile map I keep in mind there is a certain size you can go before it being insane but so many times I have done a 1v1v1v1 and I spawned next too two guys the destroy me turn three.
My second idea is most requested just my guess... online multiplayer... make it cost money or make it so you have to watch a add before you go online I would pay $5 just for online with my mates so I don’t have to go to there place.
If you add these two or maybe just multiplayer you will make many people happy and it’s a financial boost so you can continue to further create the game and become a huge company with a huge game.
Thanks you for reading this player or creator please take these ideas into consideration.
