Description

Practice any sport, anywhere and whenever you feel to sweat!

Thefairplayers is a social network dedicated to the practice of sport. It includes all the features of a classic social network and some features that allow you to create or find new opportunities to practice sport. The philosophy of the application is to create a bridge between the application and the practice of sport through real encounters "Come for the tool, stay for the network".

We find the classic functions of a social network, the news feed to share your publications, post photos or videos, like and comment on your friends' posts, messaging to send or receive messages to a friend or a group of friends, and finally, the notifications allow you to stay informed of opportunities to play sports around your home. However, and as we were tired of using other applications in addition to social networks to organize a match, a tournament or find a football or tennis partner, we added specific functions. In an all in one spirit, you will find the following features:

Clubs: you can create or join a club. This is a private group with an interactive news feed reserved exclusively for club members. It makes it possible to energize the life of the club because all the publications, results and information of the club will be accessible wherever you are. You can also discover the other members of the club and meet new members, find more easily new partners to play a basketball game for example. The coaches will be able to offer their course and offer discounts according to off-peak hours. A dialog box reserved for members will complete the various features that will make club life more animated.

Let's play: this is a function that allows you to create an event, such as a tennis match, a soccer match, an invitation to your colleagues to go running during the lunch break. We configure the event by defining the sport, the location, the time and the date, we can add a comment. Then we determine to whom we want to send the invitation, it can be the members of a club in which we are a member, to all the users around in our area, to all our friends, or to a selection of friends and finally , if it's a team sport, to teams around. Once the recipients have been defined, the event is created and the recipients receive an invitation that they can accept or refuse. By accepting it, they enter a discussion where participants can define who is playing with whom or organize themselves around the event. This function will also allow sports clubs to offer courts or discovery slots to make themselves known to those around them. Open yoga or standup paddle groups to make themselves known.
Competitions: The administrator of a club can create a competition, a tournament or a dynamic championship between the members of the club. It will configure the competition according to the sport, the dates and the number of players. Each competition will have its own news feed and its own player-only conversation. A tournament is a direct elimination competition, it takes place in several rounds depending on the number of participants.

The dynamic championship is a championship that does not suffer from any calendar constraint or obligation to play with this or that person. At T0 a random ranking is generated, then each player can challenge a player better ranked than him in order to take his place. If he wins he takes his place and the loser loses a place. If he loses or draws, the ranking remains unchanged. This type of championship has for vocation to energize the life of a club, it allows to diversify its partners, brings a competitive side, the most motivated players will train those who are less likely to play outside their usual routine. It will allow members to meet. A person who does not know anyone or who no longer has their usual partners to challenge in the tournament and meet new people.
