Description

The Nernst/Goldman Equation Simulator provides a visualization of the Nernst and Goldman potentials given user-defined values for the relevant parameters. Users may adjust the permeability, extracellular concentration, and intracellular concentration of potassium, sodium, and chloride ions and observe the resulting changes, in real-time, for the electrical potential difference as calculated using the selected equation. Preset values are provided for common cell types.

Dr Getafix ,

Nice to see it’s in app form now!

I’ve been using the online version in my tutes for a number of years now, but never liked that it need Flash (esp. now that its being phased out), and it wouldn’t work on my iPad. So glad it has an app now!
