Description
As an extension of your paper tablet, the reMarkable mobile app lets you view, organize, and import documents. Share your ideas across devices.
Expand your reMarkable universe:
Make sure to pair your paper tablet with an account at my.remarkable.com before logging in to the app. Find login details for both in Account settings on the paper tablet.
Get organized:
Use the app to get an overview of your content, with tags and favorite documents. Create folders for collecting notebooks and files by topic.
Save one for each project, or separate work and personal notes. This will help you find and arrange the content stored on your paper tablet with Search.
You can also remove clutter by deleting any digital paper that has piled up.
Fresh paper in your pocket:
Our notebooks take full advantage of the flexibility of digital paper for taking notes, typing, and sketching.
All of your content is always available, and you can both make fresh notebooks, folders, and add note pages in PDFs and ebooks.
Take focused notes, anywhere:
Make your ideas easier to refine and share on the go. Our cloud storage allows you to sync your content and pick up right where you left off on your paper tablet.
Use the app to create new notebooks or quick sheets, and add blank note pages to existing documents. Checkboxes in the formatting menu are great for to-do lists.
Type pages of notes, or quickly write out shorter lists to review and annotate later on your reMarkable.

App misses the mark
Am only a few days into being a new owner of a ReMarkable 2… and the experience has been marvellous… until I ventured dipped my toes into the app. I can’t seem to get past the syncing facility - and cannot find anything actually functional or useful. If this app only existed to pair the device with the Connect cloud facility that would be fine. Tick, did that. But the blurry for the app promises so much more, but fails to deliver. This is even more confusing when my PC desktop app works as it should… which makes it clear to me that the app developers have dropped the ball on this one. A big shame really.
Disappointing
I love my ReMarkable, that I use daily for work and personal purposes. It has helped me to go paperless. The app, however, is almost unusable. Fortunately, I rarely need to use it. But when I do, it fails to sync on the first launch. Works on the second launch but takes so long that I usually give up before the relevant note has synced.
Don’t expect any help or support
Bought the device and signed up for a monthly plan. It is definitely not as simple as paper, as your files can freeze and then the conversion to text button disappears. After hours of searching the FAQs and tutorials (which are pretty useless if your buttons have disappeared), tried to get in contact or support. And that just does not exist. It throws you back into FAQs and topics that are not relevant. Major disappointment.
