Spider Crawler ,

As good as the first. Love it!

Compared to The Room, this sequel is bigger in every way. Before, there was just one box on one table, and a series of letters from one scientist - but in The Room Two there are multiple locations and the chance to explore them more fully, and there are also letters from other people. The graphics and sounds are more breathtaking than ever.

However, the storyline is not as good as it was in the previous game. It's just as tense, but too vague and unfocused: the singular journey of discovery in the first game was far more captivating. The puzzles were superior too, mainly because they were more of a challenge than they are in this game.

Overall, I would consider The Room Two to be on par with its predecessor. Better in some ways and not as good in others, but still a masterpiece. I hope to see a third instalment for this amazing series.

So much fun

I grew up playing games like Myst and other puzzles that gave you very little direction to solve them. As a child it drove me mad, but now I truly see the joy in them and this was an utterly delightful return to that time. A few years back I played through Mind: Path to Thalamus, and this felt very much like that - lots of beautiful graphics, an effective soundtrack that was atmospheric and creepy but never intrusive, and some wonderfully logical thinking required. I rarely pay for games but after the trial of The Room, I bought it, finished it in a day, and immediately bought this one. Will definitely be purchasing The Room 3. Fantastic job guys, please keep developing solid content like this! :)
