Information about everything

This paper finally backs up what I read in The Australian newspaper. Most other newsprint describes everything from a left of centre approach and many items of minority interest groups only. I am for the majority of views that come across from the ordinary silent majority who are able to access and assess news with a clear and reasoned logic. I do not expect many who have not been taught to think for themselves to understand this. It’s a pity that for the last 50 years or so many of our young people have not been taught correctly and can only blindly follow suggestions on social media. They have very poor ability to analyse as we were taught to do. Let’s hope someone can fill this gap for them. It is wide but hopefully the Spectator and their columnists can put forward to some refreshing ideas to ponder on for many years to come.

Better functionality

This is a great read! However, the text resizing feature is very annoying. It keeps on resetting to the very big or very small text size. It will be much better if the screen size would default to 12 pitch, and if another size is chosen it should not resize itself when pages are turned.

Speccie great, new app not

I love the Speccie but the new app is a buggy, backward step. To move through the magazine I now have to swipe right, then swipe left, then swipe right again. The edition cover page has lost its easy to read Get and Read options and now just has tiny cloud symbols almost indistinguishable from one another. The font size adjustment took ages to respond and I almost gave up trying. Hopefully after writing this I will no longer be pestered at almost every turn to review the app.
