Ok on iPad but slow on iPad3

Had this on my iPad 1 and found it ok It is very slow to load and then takes quite some time to download the paper, but once reading the pages flow smoothly.
Just upgraded to an iPad 3. Same issues with load time, but now the pages lad extremely slowly. Each page draws a block at a time - its a bit like being on dial up.

Terrible app by terrible news that crashes on start. Fix yourselves.
