Barely useful

Can’t even figure out how to reach out to support.

App doesn’t allow any changes if there’s an ‘antibacterial cycle’ notification present. Setting the schedule is clunky (having to set every day independently and only being able to choose blocks of whole hours - what if I need it to start at 10.30am?).

Missed opportunity to graph the temperature - would be handy to see change over time!

In Apple Store we cannot enter our direct email address for technical support to Thermann Control APP as we did in Google Play: thermowattservice@thermowatt.com.
ANTIBACTERIAL is an always-on function that doesn’t allow any working mode change during the thermal cycle, to avoid any safety issue; nevertheless, during the cycle you have the possibility of changing settings, managing different water heaters, accessing notification, product information and consumption monitoring.
Thermann Control APP is designed to be simple and user-friendly even for people with limited experience with technologies. The design of SCHEDULE working mode interface is currently under development for updating … stay tuned!

Disappointed

Got this App when I got a new Thermann hot Water unit. Worked ok for a couple of weeks then it became difficult to logon to and get information. After the update of about a week ago I have not been able to logon to the App at all!
Requests about how long this would be resulted in answers ranging from problem with the telco provider to the App developer is working on a fix. How long does this take? As of the moment I cannot get any information from the App, if it opens or sometimes when it opens it just then reverts back to me having to open it again.
This is very frustrating and annoying.
Just need to know when this will be fixed! The App should be more robust than it is.

Dear customer, we are sorry for the negative experience.
Starting from Mid of June 2024, Telstra telco provider decided to disable communications through IPv6, the worldwide standard for DNS routing.
Thermann Control APP was updated to solve the issue by the End of June 2024; an investigation with the telco provider is still ongoing to better understand the reasons of their decision.
Please, download the latest version of Thermann Control APP (Version.2.32) and enjoy your new Thermann hot water unit.

App not working

A few months ago I purchased the smart water heater, set up the Thermann app and all was working, then recently I have lost connection to the app and cannot seem to retrieve or adjust the water heater settings. I have downloaded version 2.34 and still no connection despite version 2.32 allegedly fixing the Telstra 3G disconnection. I have even reset the heater per manufacturer instructions to no avail. How can I get the app working again?
