MYOB Invoice 4+

Bug fixes and additions needed !

I just converted from another invoicing software company due to my new accounting using MYOB - been a tough transition especially for a tradesman like myself but I’ve noticed the app lacks a lot of features considering the size and power of the company .
Please take note of the following ;
Randomly comes up with “can’t save invoice , try again” - frustrating to say the least and this happens after I may have already sent 2 invoices to the same person , same format, same day etc .... then I’ve restarted the app and same thing .

The other major issue is that once you send an invoice it doesn’t say it’s been sent in the app afterwards , so if you look away from your phone and don’t see the green tick come up , or if your distracted and can’t remember whether you sent it or just saved it you can’t tell... I’ve had customers think I’m being rude or impatient by triple sending them etc . The other companies app used to let you know when it was sent AND if the client had opened it on their end so you’d know they received it aswell .

Otherwise I’d give the app 4-5 stars !!!!!

No point in having this app - it’s the worst

I will start by telling you the funny side as it’s an indication of just how useless MYOB are overall. I have been having a lot of trouble with the app (couldn’t log in most of the time), so decided to call MYOB. I spent 15 minutes trying to make the operator understand what I wanted and she kept arguing with me and telling me most certainly that I must be confused because MYOB don’t have any apps! That’s a great start. Finally, I demanded to speak to someone with more technical knowledge and she put me on hold - 30 minutes later, nothing… got sick of their awful music and hung up!
Be warned, the app is horrible, that’s if you can actually log in. I keep getting error messages when asked to log in. And, despite having the 4 digit passcode set up, it keeps insisting that I type in my email address and password- very tedious when the previous version was so quick with just the 4 digits every time. So mostly I can’t use it because it doesn’t like my log in ( husband is the same on his phone), but the occasional time I have been able to get in, there are too many glitches to make it useable. I think we will just have to uninstall it and do things the less efficient way and not on the go. Seriously thinking of changing to another company after about 20 years with MYOB. They used to be so good and now just awful.

I had to convert to this for my accountant and book keeper as I was using a smaller brand invoicing app.
Our old app I was able to click on our clients and view all their outstanding invoices, send statements etc from the iOS app as well as send a receipt once I mark it as paid. I feel for such a big accounting/invoicing company the invoicing app and software is very limited for contractors or people who want to invoice on the go from iphone or iPads.
It also takes much longer to load and send invoices. I really hope it improves soon otherwise I’ll have to be changing back to Invoice2go. This was meant to make my life easier but it’s done the total opposite.
