Ratings and Reviews
Great, but ironically would be better with mouse and keyboard support
TQ is one of my favourite games, and I love that someone went to the effort of adapting it for mobile devices to give it a new lease of life. The touch controls are well thought out and make playing on smaller devices a treat. However I would love to see the keyboard and mouse supported too, - iPad has moved forward a good deal in terms of support and usefulness of these peripherals, and I feel like it’s a bit of a missed opportunity to not offer this option for iOS devices that can use them.
This and a few minor bugs is why I gave a 4 star rating, but even so this is awesome and I’m really happy it exists.
Great but stopping due to bug
I am loving this game but I am not always getting skill and attribute points when I level up. I just levelled up from 28 to 29 and got the usual screen messages but NO POINTS to allocate ! This has happened at least 5-6 times already and I am reluctantly giving up the game as without the extra points it is just getting too difficult to kill bosses. Please fix - and give me my points back !!!
UPDATE - finished normal mode and played through a few hours of of Epic Mode, saving frequently. Came back next day and I find myself back at Mount Olympus in Normal Mode - even though quests all marked as complete 😢 Grrrrrrr.
Overall a good experience
Im playing on a iPhone 11 Pro and it sometimes “skips” frames otherwise it runs smooth as butter. A couple glitches here and there I have noticed but nothing game breaking. Another thing, I’m a little gutted it doesn’t include the immortal throne expansion. Really missing those QoL updates it gave such as Inventory sort, the caravan, Dream mastery and others. Id say $10 is a good price for a game that has this much content. Ive been playing TQ for years, its pretty sweet it’s on mobile for me to enjoy now. Gameplay and graphics still hold up today. Worth a try if you have the money to spare.
