A very reliable and user friendly platform
This app never fail to disappoint me. Vendors are reliable, responsive and honest. Products received have been 100% genuine and in excellent condition. The platform is user friendly and reliable. In any case of transaction issues, buyer are fully supported by Tokopedia. I have been using this platform for many items that I have not been able to get from stores and supermarket - both local and import products.

I’m reviewing solely for the app functionality not for the marketplace as whole. Hoping the devs team will come across it because I don’t think they can be reached:
- There are major tweaks on the interface on every version update. EVERY SINGLE UPDATE.
Which is unnecessary and confusing... buttons and menu moved all the time. First I couldn’t find the shopping cart, now it’s back and there’s no summary of our purchases anymore. Instead it’s just hundreds and hundreds of items you won’t even buy glaring at you and information of your purchases deep buried somewhere.
- Less incentive to give reviews
Seems the update favours you to buy more and communicate less, esp from the official stores. I can’t easily find which items I haven’t reviewed anymore. Which is annoying because reviews are important since there’s still a lot of dodgy sellers.
- Activity centre / status pages is now just a page
Yep, instead of sectioning the purchased, processed, delivered and received items now they’re just one page of endless scrolling. Also for reviewing and repurchasing and everything else. One giant mess of a page for all your activities. Good luck finding anything. I don’t even know anymore how many purchases are happening at the moment.
I used to think Shopee one was confusing and I am now hoping the devs for this one will look at that and see how the user activity centre is nicely done there.
Tokopedia slaps!
Honestly I prefer this e-commerce platform than others because I feel valued as a user and customer. If you have any problems with the app they will definitely help you with your problems. I also love the user experience and the minimalist design.
