Poor experience from the get go
*Updated following yet another unhelpful email from your “support” team.
So now I am so frustrated. Template answers do not provide helpful information. Suggesting that I simply type the address into all the provided space so that it wraps awkwardly and makes life a NIGHTMARE for the postal service is not a solution. Now I just need to figure out how I am supposed to get my money back.
I was super excited when I downloaded this app at the beginning of the week. We have our youngest son in the Australian Defence Force and I saw this as a great way to easily and regularly send photos and letters from home. I bought $50 of credits to have plenty to start with and then jumped into creating my first postcard. And that’s when things went rapidly downhill. The address field is simply not big enough to include all the necessary information. I emailed support (including the address I was attempting to add) and the reply was a template response that gave instructions for the US. Not particularly helpful when I live in Australia. Poor customer service is not a great way to encourage customer brand loyalty from the “open the box” moment. Very disappointed.
Great Little App
I have been sending postcards with Touch Note for some time now.
This app is easy to use, quite economical and so convenient, especially when travelling overseas. All the postcards sent have been received and the quality has been wonderful. I love the way I can really personalise cards using my own photos and the speed at which I can send multiple cards.
Recently I have discovered how convenient it is to send birthday cards. I love the way I can create multiple cards and then organise each to be sent on an appropriate date. This is a great app and I have recommended Touch Note to many fellow travellers and friends.
I’d give ZERO stars if I could
I’ve been using this app for years now and used to be happy with it even recommending it to others. Not any more though. There’s one frustration after the other the biggest one being most of our Christmas cards to our fiends and family here in Australia and in various countries in Europe didn’t arrive yet!!! I contacted the 24-hour customer service twice in more than two weeks now but nobody has contacted me back. Words can’t express how disappointed we are.
There are also issues with cards not arriving at all. We never used to check on arrival or quality of the cards, but when pointed out by friends that we may have forgotten to send them a card (as promised) we decided to check and were told by many that no card has arrived.
There are also issues with the app after updates most recent one being that the app lost names of countries for most people in address book of the app which I had to manually fix for everyone.
We used to send around twenty cards per occasion multiple times a year but decided enough is enough.
