Anyone who’s booked train tickets in the UK knows it can be a labyrinthine task. Am I buying off-peak tickets? What is off-peak? What is “super” off-peak? Am I getting the best deal? We were thrilled to have all this—and more—finally made clear as day by a souped-up Trainline app. It’s become as essential to our train travel as a fully charged phone battery.
This app makes train bookings so easy
I downloaded this app to assist with my train bookings in the UK, I can’t recommend it enough.
The app does all of the hard work for you, checking routes, fares, timetables and even does the seat reservations for you. With so many different rail companies to manage, having them all at your fingertips with this app is invaluable. You don’t need to do anything except put the route into the search engine.
There is a small booking fee with each transaction, but is worth it and still cheaper in many cases than other apps and even booking direct.
An hour before each journey you get a reminder on your phone telling you if your train is on time or delayed and what platform it leaves from. In most cases your ticket is in the app..

Best App for travelling Europe
I love the Trainline App. Booking is so easy, no stress at the train station, can live track your train and most platforms are correct, even if they aren’t they are updated as close to real time as possible, and all my tickets are in one place 😍
