What’s New

Version 5.4.6

What do Billie Eilish, King Henry VIII, and Janet Jackson all have in common? You guessed it! None of them are from Buenos Aires, Argentina — Transit’s newest supported city.

With 15.5M people, ~50% taking transit, and no real-time data until now (wow) they’re in for a big empanada of subway splendour & bus-riding bliss. So send a message in a bottle; find a Spanish-speaking carrier pigeon: we’ve got that real-time goodness + Ecobici bikeshare in The Paris of the South!

More bug fixes (and less King Henry) coming up shortly. For muy bueno customer support hit us up @transitapp. Rate us V stars & don’t forget to tell the Porteños: ¡Transit es re-bueno! (y casi tan sublime como los goles que marca Leo Messi)

Great app, just sometimes crashes...

Transit is a great app but the largest downside of it is that sometimes I'm finding that it just randomly crashes and so therefore it can become difficult to use. The two most recent updates said that they would get rid of them, but did they? No. It could just be that my device is a little bit too old (iPhone SE iOS 12.1.2), I'm not sure if others are having the same problem or not. One other major request is proper line colours for Melbourne! Currently they are all mixed up with just random colours for the trains (purple for Werribee/Williamstown Line!? It should be green!)

Edit: The app isn't crashing anymore for some reason! 😁👍😁👍

Another edit: The line colours are fixed! Now we just need some accessibility info! ♿️

Fantastic upto date information

I daily use the 901 bus from Frankston to Dandenong or further. I find it easy to use and though I have an iPhone X iOS 12.2 I don’t seem to have the problems the lady said regarding crashing maybe it’s cause a lot more transit around the city and trams ect. but on my side of Melbourne it’s been fantastic. Invaluable even. No matter where I am I can find out very quickly wat bus train or tram(rarely) is going where and how long it’ll b. Keep up the good work

Just one more feature and I’ll give it 5 stars!

This is a great app. Excellent interface, easy to use, and routes better than other apps I’ve tried.

There’s just one feature I’d like added - and when it is, I’ll give Transit 5 stars. I’d like to see a notification given when an approaching bus is, say, 3 minutes away. That way, I could relax, read a book, answer emails, whatever, and be notified when my bus is approaching a bus stop where I’m waiting for a bus without worrying I’ll miss it by not hailing it in time. There’s another app that does this and I often have that app running in parallel with Transit just to have that feature. Please bring it to Transit so I can forget the other app! ;-) Please!!
