Amazing tool for communicating!
This app I downloaded to help with my Italian as I have an Italian mother in-law that I thought it would be nice to be able to have a limited conversation with her in her native tongue. Since downloading it I have found it not only useful for that but I have used it at work to help communicate with elderly customers, in a hospital to help a fellow patient communicate the pain and symptoms to a nurse and all over Europe on my recent trip. I would not be without it. Five star rating only because ten stars are not a possibility.
Outstanding App
I have used the app for several years for my travels to numerous countries. It’s main advantage for me is that I store words or phrases prior to travelling (although you can use hotel wifi for a vocabulary top up) which enables access to my library without requiring internet while travelling. I either verbally repeat the phrase or play it to the person. It’s pronunciation is obviously good enough for them to respond appropriately either with gesture or broken English. Either way it works!
Be aware of the latest update.
It prevents you from copying the text so you can no longer transfer into a message.
