Description

Welcome to Tree ID Australia, the essential mobile reference for cultivated trees in the urban environment. With beautiful high quality images of form, bark, foliage and flowers for more than 100 tree species found in gardens, public open space and streetscapes throughout Australia, Tree ID Australia will become an important tool for identifying and selecting urban trees.

In this version, a unique key feature for Australian trees is introduced to assist users with identifying tree species based on flower colour and also leaf type. The select feature for tree planting has also been enhanced: allowing users to refine attributes for tree selection based on height, type (evergreen or deciduous), origin and function.

Tree ID Australia is suitable for arborists, green-industry professionals and tree enthusiasts alike, and includes an arboricultural glossary to help users describe urban trees. Additionally, the 'related species' section with each tree provides valuable information for users to tell apart closely related tree species.

Please enjoy!

This is not a tree id it is a very brief guide

For ten dollars I would have expected at least the majority of trees grown in Australian gardens or a comprehensive coverage of Australian natives.
It took me fifteen minutes to go through every tree in the "app"
It needs a lot more development and a leaf scanning ability. The tree I was searching wasn't in there but found it on the local council website. More information would be good, such as regional suitability for example.
The photos are quite good and the layout is easy to use.

Painfully Mad ,

Poor quality

For the price I expected a greater number of trees, for instance Australian Wattles, the app has four there's at least 1000 species.
The reference material lists four
And not even the Cootmundra Wattle or the Silver Wattle
Very dissatisfied

Issue with photos

Great app but the tree photos are not appearing for some reason (never used to have this problem). I couldn't find a contact email to log issue to programmer. Can this be fixed please?
