TripView displays Sydney and Melbourne public transport timetable data on your phone. It features a summary view showing your next services, as well as a full timetable viewer. All timetable data is stored on your phone, so it can be used offline.

- Sydney Ferries
- Sydney Light Rail (excluding stops between Exhibition Centre and Central)
NOTE: Best efforts are taken to ensure timetable accuracy, but no guarantees are made. If you find an error in the timetable, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with details. No guarantees are made about real-time data availability. If the transit operator doesn't provide real-time data for a particular service, TripView will revert to showing the scheduled time, as per the timetable.

Great but some bugs
Great app, gets me to my bus on time but one problem; some buses don’t have real-time data. I don’t know why this is but some buses don’t get real-time updates even though I know that they are coming, one of my buses which I catch everyday never has any real-time data and is constantly late but I never know how late it is. I would love to see this get fixed but other than that it’s a great app and definitely recommend it to anyone commuting around Sydney.

Thanks for the feedback. Normally if a particular bus has no real-time data, it's because the bus itself is not providing any. If you could let me know the time of the bus and the stop that you're travelling from, I can pass your feedback along to Transport for NSW, so they can investigate.
Trip destination completed
It is a great app, you can track how far your bus is from your destination and it can probably do the same with other transportations e.g ferries, trains and light rail. If your data is on it can tell you if it is running late/early by how many minutes as well. In my opinion there is only 2 problems 1st problem - with the free app your trip search will disappear once you leave the app and will need to go through the whole process again. 2nd problem -If you run out of data it won’t tell you if it is running on time or not but other then that it is a pretty good app!
Two versions, too stingy!
How you even gonna charge us for your bus timetable. Half the time the bus locations aren’t even available. Scrap premium and light and just give us full function.
Thanks for your response. As an independent developer, you need to raise revenue. Could you find value in the data generated by the app users? If you sold the data back to the transport providers and combined that with advertising revenue, could you provide a single free app with full functionality and still see enough profit to make the effort worth while?
Do you have to pay for access to the transport info provided by the transport providers? I assumed there was free API access, but I have to admit that I have no idea about that. If you are paying, I think the API providers could lift their game.

We are an independent app developer. We don’t receive any external funding. App sales directly pay for development. We are not going to sell user data (the privacy implications are unacceptable to us). We think that the pricing of the app is quite reasonable. Thanks for your support.
