This app is very helpful at showing and notifying you when a movie, tv show, etc has a discounted price. Easy to use after a short period of time.

Doesn’t notify for price drops
Though it told me it would notify of price drops after I added 15 items to my wish list, things were discounted and the app never told me, rendering this app incapable of doing the one job it has.
This app should also be notifying you of discounts from the get-go, not after adding an amount of items to the wish list.
The settings are also quite unhelpful. All it offers you is the choice to toggle between preferred video resolution of HD or SD. Should include the choice to turn notifications on or off. But it can’t do that when there are no notifications.
I encourage the makers of this app to make this app start notifying like it says it will, but ultimately doesn’t.

All the issues you mention are now corrected in the latest version of TunesGenie.
1. Notifications are delivered much more reliably when there is a price drop
2. Notifications are delivered as soon as you add the first with to your list (assuming you authorize them)
3. The HD/SD setting now shows an explanation of what it is precisely meant for

iTunes genie has saved me a lot of money.updates could be a bit quicker though. I love the way it alerts me when an item on my wish list has had a price drop.
