one small step for Twitter's Tweetdeck.. just waiting for that giant leap
the newest update is definitely a step in the right direction, though I find myself simultaenously scrolling sideways and up & down at the same time, kind of annoying… wish they could use a four finger swipe or something to move between columns. Not to mention why can you still not use a shortcut key to start a new tweet… command + n; how hard is that?! Like the idea behind narrow columns, but to be honest they are kind of too narrow, but maybe that's just me. if you could have columns that weren't uniform in width, that would be kind of awesome. I still feel like the old version of Tweetdeck is superior, which is kind of damming, but this new version definitely getting better.
I had previous used another app for Twitter and it had a lot of issues with loading. Once I switched to TweetDeck it worked perfectly. It’s great to be able to have different columns for different features you want to view, such a timeline, notifications, mentions, messages and more. You can also have multiple accounts, so if you have more than one Twitter account, it’s easy to manage them!
The only feature I would like to see added, is being able to have a column with currently trending items, not just one specific trending item, and if you could select the country (or worldwide) that you want all trends to show from.
Great replacement for the original Twitter app thats free!
So the original Twitter app by Twitter from the app store stopped working a few days ago.
I had done some research and found some other paid apps then came across this one by Twitter also!
It does what the previous app done pretty much with some extra functionality so chuffed with the fact this is free also!
As mentioned in other comments you can hide the panels you don’t need to get it working just like the original app.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
